The only thing is that we’re like a million miles apart so we cannot.
don’t remind me. siiiiiigh. everyone on tumblr lives a million miles away from me.

I think that’s a fantastic idea.
hooray!

Yes! They’re really big on ambiguity too, which I like because I like not having everything explained. I’d rather argue with people about the meanings.
yessssss! why do american filmmakers seem to have such little faith in their audience? ugh. we need to go see movies together!

Oh, yeah, of course! Atmosphere is my favorite part of scary movies, though many of them fail to create much of one.
truth. maybe that’s why i enjoy asian and spanish horror so much. they seem to get that part of the equation right more often than not.

Haven’t watched it, but I’ve seen the case. I’ll check it out if you think it’s worth the time. I’m not picky with my movie watching, so it doesn’t matter if I hate it. I am pretty masochistic when it comes to movies.
yeah, check it out. i liked it. but, keep in mind, i’m a big “mood over shock” guy. i mean, shocks and gore have their place, but, if you forced me to choose between a movie that’s all creepy mood and one that’s all shocks and gore, i’m gonna go with creepy mood almost every time. in my book, a great horror movie has to have creepy mood galore, plenty of shocks, and plenty of gore, but movies like that are rare.
ryantillman replied to your post: tumblr’s getting sleepy, but i, unfortunately, am not
I have both of those queued up to watch. Lockout is supposed to be awesome even though it’s goofy. I’ve heard mixed reviews of V/H/S but it looks pretty cool to me. Over found footage though.
yet another sign we should get married. except for a ridiculous chase sequence right at the beginning, “lockout” has been pretty good, so far. from the on demand description, i didn’t know “v/h/s” was a found footage flick. have you seen “atrocious”? the ending was predictable, but it’s pretty much the only found footage film to hold my interest in a goodly while.
ryan tillman, monster hunter?
you guys, you guys, you guys
this isn’t for a commission, it’s just something i want to do… who would you cast as big barda?
@nomandi: i knew someone was gonna suggest lucy lawless. i mean, it makes sense. but i’m looking for someone a bit younger. megan fox is younger, but… eww. i’m afraid i’d catch something just drawing her.
@ryantillman: the pine sol lady is already a new god. i think it would be awkward and unseemly to cast her as a different one.
@theaftermathofcatastrophe: i have no idea who big ang is.
@xavieralghul: laura prepon is too cute and, well, girlish to be barda, i think.
@morelikegazoinksbo: while you could, of course, play any role you set your mind to, i think i’m going to use you as batwoman, instead.
@breakfastchunks: you win! gina carano would be perfect!
ryantillman replied to your post: just watched a weird little flick called “absentia”
I have seen Lake Mungo. I liked it. I have Absentia in my movies-to-watch waitlist.
